Nursing Cover

I am not sure if I just did not know about it or if it is kind of  new thing, but when Lucas was born I did not have one of those and I would probably use it a lot if I had since I breastfed him for 10 months.
I found here at Diary of a Quilter a tutorial on how to make your own Nursing Cover. Check it out!!! It is pretty easy to make one!!!

A day at the Pool

It is getting hot here!!! Yesterday, it was 9am and I could not stay outside with Lucas because it was way too hot for both of us.

Today is as hot as it was yesterday, but at least we were in the water all morning. We went to my friend's pool today. Lucas had so much fun. He respects the water, but at the same time he has no fear. He wanted me to let him go, he wants to jump, splash the water.... Oh I had forgotten how much fun is summer especially with my Boy!!! He loves the water. Who doesn't like to stay in the pool in a hot day like that? 

My precious boy is getting so tanned and so cute with the sun. His hair is like my hair, get lighter in the sun. 

That was a great way to spend our morning. Good time with good friends!!!

Breaking News - It's a Girl!!!!

Well, when I was at my 12 weeks we did an ultrasound and we were told that we are having a boy. The guy told me that he was 90% sure it was a boy. On top of that I check that Chinese Birth Calendar and it just confirm what the guy had told us. 

So, after that, we told everyone that we were having a boy. I started shopping for boy's clothes, planning a boy' nursery and so and so.

Yesterday we went back to have the 4D ultrasound and the lady kindly asked me if we wanted to know the sex. I, without thinking, told her that we knew it already: It is a boy! A few minutes later she asked me if I took the tag out of all the things that I got for " Baby Boy" and  I said no. So she said: “Good for you. You are having a girl and you better starting buying all the pink clothes now!!!”

We could not believe it. I almost jumped out of the bed. I was laughing, crying.. all at the same time. My husband was kind of frozen. He asked her to check it again, again and again to make sure that now there was no mistake.

We were very happy with the news of having a boy, especially for Lucas. They would be great brothers and friends, but we are very happy too with the news that we are having a Girl and not a boy, so now we will have our prince and our princess, and I can't wait to meet her.

Pregnancy Pictures

I am 18 weeks right now and can't wait to meet my little one. Baby is growing healthy and fast and mom is doing great too.
So far I did not have any funny wishes, but I am thinking about creating some, just for the fun of it, LOL.
Baby is moving a lot and I love to feel it.
We are having our 4D ultrasound today. I promise to post some pictures of our precious little one soon.

Chocolate Mousse Cups from Bakerella

I few days ago I mentioned to you guys another great recipe from Bakerella. Me and a friend decided to try this fun and delicious recipe with our little ones.
The good thing with this recipe is that you can use this chocolate cup for so many things. I used it to serve ice-cream and I am planning on making them for Lucas Birthday Party and let the kids decorate their ice cream and have fun. I think they will love it, don't you think so?
I had prepared my favorite Chocolate Mousse a day before and had everything else ready for the "party".
Well, how can we have a party without balloons?? So we started to blow some small  water balloons. Those are perfect size to make the chocolate cups but, pretty hard to fill with air.

Balloons were clean and ready to be used, so them the fun started!

Lucas was watering looking into the chocolate. Mom, can I try it now???

That is fun Mom, can I try it now???

Okay Mom, I think that will be more than enough. Can I try it now???

Please Mom, let me try it now. Can I??? 

This is so much fun, love the colors!!!

Humm, now you can try 1, 2, 3... Can I have just one more Mom???

Peg Board Jewelry Organizer

Sometimes I get in the mood of organizing my house, my closet, and everything else. It does not last too long, though, LOL.
Last week I organized my closet. It looks great now, for a few weeks at least, but there is one thing that I can never get organized like I want and it is my Jewelry box. (Mom, I wish you were here to help me with this task, hehehe)
